P.E. & SPORTS PREMIUM

The government is continuing to provide substantial primary school sport funding.  The funding is being jointly provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport and is money which comes directly to primary school headteachers to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.

Ofsted will play a significant role in ensuring that schools target this funding in areas which will lead to clear outcomes in raising standards and opportunities in PE and school sport for all children through the Primary Phase. Each school will receive an annual sum. The money can be spent on sport and PE provision but schools have the freedom to choose how they do this.

Sports and PE Objectives:

  1. To improve the provision of PE at Croughton All Saints CofE
  2. PE provision is judged at least good by external monitoring
  3. Broaden the sporting opportunities and experiences available to all pupils
  4. To develop a love of sport and physical activity
  5. To develop opportunities to achieve and pass challenges and awards
