So the weather has remained rainy but children are definitely feeling sunny after a super day of adventures. After some children decided a 4am start would be good we officially started our day with breakfast at 7.45am which was cereal, toast and fruit juice followed by an attempt to make sandwiches! A room inspection followed with 3 rooms getting 10 out of 10, and then we needed to collect all our gear for the day.

Group 3 went off site and did some gorge walking which was incredible and the children all did an incredible job of walking through waterfalls and lots more besides – from the nature of the task at hand we were all extremely soggy at the end of the day.

Group 1 and 2 remained at the site and did paddle boarding, high ropes, leap of faith, zip wire and climbing. Lots of perseverance, resilience and encouragement was needed to succeed and all the children did themselves proud, achieving new things.

Off for dinner very soon followed by a trip to Longtown castle and a quiz night later!

The children are all doing a fab job and a testament to you all, although a couple of them may need to work on bed making! Take care. (Wifi is quite slow but will add group 1 and 2 photos asap!)
